Grief support & resources for the bereaved & those living with trauma
Dandelions are signs of life again, and like the dandelion spreads its seeds, we spread our love from one to another.
Dandelions are signs of life again, and like the dandelion spreads its seeds, we spread our love from one to another.
We're so grateful to partner with our local friends at Make a Buddy, who lovingly create our Dandelion Friends plush collection exclusively for The Dandelion Project.
Our collection currently includes Kerri the Dandelion and DJ the Bumblebee, with Quinn the Mushroom and Betty the Butterfly coming soon. Each character is inspired by one of our stories and serves as a gentle reminder of hope, comfort, courage, and connection.
With a donation of $25 or more, you'll receive one of these meaningful plush companions as our thank-you. Every donation helps us continue providing books, grief support, educational resources, and community programs for children and families.
Want to meet The Dandelion Friends in person? Visit our Book Signings & Events section to find upcoming author appearances, have your books personally signed, and discover where the journey takes us next.
Hope you can hold. Stories you'll never forget.
Donations are tax-deductible.
We accept checks, credit cards, Cash App, and PayPal.

YOUR STORY IS NOT OVER!
Two Banners. One Choice
Always displayed together as a set, each banner holds 12 faces.
One remembers those we’ve lost, the other those in recovery.
For every face of loss, there is a face of recovery.
And one space—marked with a mirror—waits for you to see yourself as to see yourself as the next Face of H.O.P.E

BEHIND EVERY LOSS AND EVERY RECOVERY IS A FAMILY.
The Faces of H.O.P.E. Family Banners are a public awareness initiative of The Dandelion Project created to honor the families impacted by addiction, overdose, and mental health challenges. These banners recognize the parents, siblings, children, and loved ones whose lives are forever changed — and whose stories deserve to be seen and heard.
Family Banners are displayed alongside our Loss and Recovery banners to show the full picture:
loss, recovery, and the families at the heart of both.
Together, they help reduce stigma, encourage compassion, and remind our communities that no one walks this journey alone.
